History of the North Pine Valley Cemetery

Last Saturday, the authorities of the Town of Pine Valley purchased seven acres and a fraction of land to be used as an addition to the Pine Valley Cemetery. The ground purchased lies on the west and south side of the present cemetery. The grounds will be graded and fitted before being divided into lots. Source: Clark Co. Press, Aug. 1882

This data was obtained from cemetery, church & family records, tombstone photos, obituaries, a cemetery walk through published by Jim & Kathy Heath, and Clark County, Wisconsin biographical and historical records from 1881, 1891 & 1918. If you can not find a desired obituary in the ALHN database to verify the entry, you may wish to order a micro-film of a Neillsville newspaper from the time frame you are researching. The available newspapers can be requested from the Wisconsin State Historical through your local library. Please consider submitting any newly acquired items to the ALHN Records Board.
