Obit: Schwamb, Jacob (1857 – 1903)
Surnames: SCHWAMB FREE Source: CLARK COUNTY REPUBLICAN & PRESS (Neillsville, Wis.) 01/15/1903 Schwamb, Jacob (16 OCT 1857 – 11 JAN 1903) Jacob Schwamb died Saturday Jan. 11, 1903 at the hospital in Eau Claire, where he underwent an operation Jan. 7. The immediate cause of his death was pneumonia which set in after the operation. Deceased was a single man and had made his home with his sister Mrs. Thos. Free in the town of Seif, Clark County. He leaves also a brother, John Schwamb, who resides in the town of Seif. Deceased was forty four years of age the 16th of last Oct. He was a man respected by all. The funeral took place at the residence of Thos. Free on Tuesday, Rev. Guy Campbell officiating. There was a large gathering of friends and neighbors showing the esteem in which the deceased was held. |
