Surnames: MEIER Source: CLARK COUNTY REPUBLICAN & PRESS (Neillsville, Wis.) 07/22/1909 Meier, George (9 OCT 1843 – 18 JUL 1909) George Meier died at his home north of Grand Av. Bridge (Neillsville, Clark County) Sunday July 18, 1909, aged 65 years, 9 months and 9 days. He was born in Germany, married there and has one son and one daughter still living in Germany; one son and one daughter home with the mother and a married daughter lives in St. Paul. Deceased was a very good man, his honesty and good will to everybody made him many friends. Everyone who knew him had a good word for him. His death was caused by heart disease. The funeral was held Tuesday at the Lutheran Church, Rev. H. Brandt Officiating. |
