Wilcox, Wiconsin; May 17, 1893

Farmers are busy and the crops are nearly in. Mrs. A. Benedict and Mattie Gibson are in Fond du Lac County visiting old friends. A. E. Garvin lost one of his horses last Sunday. Three children of Dan Demmon, aged five, seven and nine, were lost while gathering flowers on the evening of May 12th, and slept in the woods all night. J. J. Rowe, Sr. of Plymouth, came to this place Friday on business. He sold his farm to William Mortimer.
