Obit: Schoengarth, Mary (1847 -1922)
Surnames: Schoengarth, Malig, Frantz, Brandt ------Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) Thursday, 09/07/1922 -----Schoengarth, Mary (15 Oct. 1847 - 5 Sept. 1922) Mrs. Fred Schoengarth died at her home in Neillsville Sept. 5, after a lingering illness of eight years. Deceased, whose maiden name was Mary Malig, was born in Germany Oct. 15, 1847. She grew to womanhood there and was married to Frank Frantz. After his death she came to this country and on Sept. 14, 1907, was married to Fred Schoengarth, living in the town of Grant. Later they moved to the city which has been their home ever since. She was a conscientious Christian woman and was well liked by all who knew her. She leaves six children by her first marriage, all living in Germany, her husband and five step-children hre. The funeral will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Rev. H. Brandt officiating. |
