G.S. Rowe and L.J. Fulwiler visited with relatives at Marshfield the fore part of the week. The feed mill at York Center is now ready to solicit the patronage of any one that has any grinding to be done. Henry Peat who spent about two years in the south returned home Thursday last. Willie, the little son of E.M. Cochrane, is reported to be quite ill. The Good Templars of this place were sorry to hear of the death of Henry Sturdevant. He was a faithful member of the order and Mrs. Sturdevant has the sympathy of the entire Lodge. Ernest Grabe came home Friday with his head tied up, two large bolts being the cause. He is employed in camp for J.H. Reddan. Orlo Robinson and wife of Weston, were the guests of John Redmond and wife, Sunday. John Gazette and Dan Demming started for Medford Tuesday, where they will be engaged in hauling bark this winter. Mrs. Mary Churchill starts for Lake Benton, Minnesota today, to visit with relatives. Mrs. Marcellus Redmond, who was confined to her bed for some time, is on the way to recovery. The new brick veneered house of Emil Krause, in the Town of Grant is completed, and is a beauty, both in finish and workmanship. Frank Klinke did the mason work and it is said that he can not be outdone by anyone. Gust Resler did the carpenter work and finishing, and he is a peer in his line of business and anyone wishing carpenty or masonary done will save money by employing these gentlemen.
