Bahr, Albert C. (15 JUN 1853 - 16 MAY 1927)

Albert Carl Bahr, a former resident of the town of Weston, Clark County, Wis., died at his home in Marshfield, May 16, 1927, after a lingering illness, arising from a complication of ailments.

Mr. Bahr was born in Heidekavel, Province of Brandenburg, Germany, June 15, 1853. He came to America with his parents in 1872 and settled on a farm near Globe, Clark County. In 1881 he was married to Bertha Klueckman. From this union were born two daughters, Annette, deceased, and Margaret, now Mrs. August Moelling, residing on R. F. D. 7, Marshfield. His first wife died in May 1903. He retired from farm work in 1910, having moved to Marshfield. In 1911 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Wilhelmine Furstenberg, who survives him.

Besides the daughter named above, he leaves three step-sons, David and Ed Furstenberg of Marshfield, and Elmer Furstenberg of Appleton; and two step-daughters, Mrs. Adolph Schreiber and Miss Evelyn Furstenberg of Marshfield, one sister, Mrs. Huntley of La Crosse, and 14 grandchildren.

Mr. Bahr was one of the most respected citizens of Clark County, Wis. during his residence ehre, and many of this locality who knew him best will grieve to learn of his death.

The funeral will be held at the home in Marshfield Thursday at 11 o'clock a.m., Rev. Phil J. Schroeder, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will take place at Globe Cemetery.
