Crockett, Lillian Irene (Marriage - 17 June 19260

Mr. Max Opelt Jr. and Miss Lillian Irene Crockett were married at the Congregational parsonage in Neillsville, Thursday, June 17, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating. They were attended by Allen and Avis Crocket, brother and sister of the bride. After the ceremony the bridal party drove to the home of ht bride’s parents, Mr and Mrs. O. A. Crockett, in the town of Washburn, where a fine supper was served for the relatives of the bride and groom. The groom is a son of Mr and Mrs. Max Opelt of the town of Levis. He has been helping his father carry on the home farm, which he has now bought. He is an active, industrious young farmer. The bride graduated from Neillsville high school in 1924 and has taught school with success since then. She is also well trained in home duties and well qualified for the new life before her.

The Press joins with their many friends in hopes for the welfare of this fine couple.
