Surnames: BUEHLMAN MORELTE GRUENTZEL ALLEN MIKOWSKI HARRIS BELL BUBLITZ KINGMAN Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 06/25/1925 Buehlman, Christ (15 FEB 1848 - 18 JUN 1925) Christ Buehlman died at Mt. Sinai Hospital at Milwaukee on June 18, 1925 at 11:30 p.m., after an illness of three weeks. Death was caused from blood poison followed by acute peritonitis. Christ Buehlman was born at Canton Baron, Switzerland on Feb. 15, 1848. He came to America at the age of nineteen and settled in Green Bay. In 1875 he was united in marriage with Sarah Morelte, whose death occurred a few years later, and moved to Neenah, Wis. He was married to Anna Gruentzel in 1884 at New London, Wis., who also preceded him in death. Mr. Buehlman lived in Thorp, Clark County, Wis. twenty-four years and leaves seven children to mourn his death: Mrs. N. E. Allen, Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. P. B. Milkowski, Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. F. M. Harris, Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. C. J. Bell, Little Chute, Wis., Mrs. R. H. Bublitz, Thorp, Wis., Mrs. P. L. Kingman, Gilman, Wis., Mr. Clarence John Buehlman, Milwaukee, Wis. Funeral services were held from St. Bernard's Church on June 22, 1925 at 9:00 a.m., Father Muckerheide officiating. Those present from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Otto Hehne and Lawrence Hehne of Superior, Wis., Mrs. W. E. Allen of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. P. B. Milkowski and Clarence J. Buehlman of Milwaukee, Wis., Dr. and Mrs. C. J. Bell of Little Chute, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. P. L. Kingman of Gilman, Wis., Mrs. R. W. Bickerstaff of Cornell, Wis., Mrs. Johnson of Superior, Wis.
