Obit: Anna Krarup (1859-1946)
Owen Enterprise, October 24, 1946 Final Rites Read for Anna Krarup Today Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Danish Lutheran Church at Withee for Mrs. Anna Krarup. Rev. Bundgaard of the Danish Lutheran Church officiated at the rites and burial was made in the church cemetery. She passed away at six p.m. Monday at the home of her son, Andrew, just south of the city. Mrs. Krarup was born on October 17, 1859, and only a week ago today was able to enjoy a birthday party in her honor at the home of her son in remembrance of her 87th birthday anniversary. She is survived by two sons, Andrew and Peter, both of Owen and a daughter, Mrs. Jens (Mary) Andersen, also of Owen. Pallbearers at the service were Pete Christophersen, Chris Christophersen, Andrew Smith Jr., Jens Smith, Chris Mikkelson, and R.M. Nissen. Flower girls were Deborah Christophersen, Dolly Krarup, Betty Blunck and Lillian Olson. |
