News: Foster (24 April 1930)
Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) April 24, 1930 Charles Durst spent last week in Neillsville at the county board meeting. Several from here attended the party at Will Smith’s Saturday night. Ethel Trachsel and Eva Durst visited Frances and May Belle Lightfoot Friday afternoon. Mr and Mrs. Alvin Lightfoot and Alice Betty and the Durst Bros. Were Sunday visitors at F. M. Lightfoots’. Ed Durst and family were Easter Sunday guests of Mrs. Mary Santo in Fairchild. Sunday morning Ole Jenson called on F. M. Lightfoot who has been laid up the last few days. Mr and Mrs. M. Lightfoot called on F. M. Lightfoot’ s Saturday. Ethel Durst came down from Eau Claire where she is attending Normal School and spent the weekend with the home folks. Mrs. H. G. Abbott of Illinois and formerly of this place, was in Black River Falls a short time ago to see her mother, who was seriously ill. Mrs. F. M. Lightfoot is suffering with inflammatory rheumatism and unable to walk fro a few weeks past. |
