Source: The Humbird Enterprise Date: 4-24-1909 Mrs. Haunschild and little daughter, of Gilmantown, have been visitors the past week with her sister Mrs. M. Kretschmer. Guy Stillman was over from Alma Center the fore part of the week and made a deal to purchase the Hobbs house, which he will occupy after May 1st. The consideration if $800. New Agent Here: The position of agent at this station, which has been on bulletin since the retirement of I. J. Ferris a few weeks ago, has been drawn by Wm. T. Mills. Mr. Mills is now located at Hines and will move here as soon as he can be relieved at that place an house procured here. We understand that Mr. Ferris has secured a position as traveling salesman for a large tobacco firm, and that he will probably continue to make his home in this village. |
