He was taken sick on Sunday Oct. 13th with Spanish influenza, in a few days it turned to pneumonia, he growing rapidly worse until the end came which was Tuesday morning Oct. 22nd.

Anthony was an unusually bright boy, with a cheery word and smile for everyone. He was a general favorite with his school mates.

He leaves to mourn his death, a mother, two sisters, Veronica and Clara, his father having preceded him in death, besides many other relatives and a host of friends.

On account of the epidemic the funeral services were private and attended by relatives only. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. The services were held at the Catholic church Friday morning. Rev. Joseph F. Stenz officiating and he was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery.
