News: Lynn (18 June 1931)
Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 18 June 1931 LYNN Mr and Mrs. Fred Capella and daughter, Althea, and son Delmer, who has been visiting friends and relatives in Milwaukee the past two weeks, returned home Wednesday. Mr and Mrs. Dankemyer and children and Mr and Mrs. John Martin autoed to Eau Claire Sunday to visit Mrs. Gertrude Ross and daughter, , Geraldine, and the Misses Anita Helm and Nora Ross. Geraldine came back with them to spend the summer vacation. Mr and Mrs. Max Opelt and Uncle Otto Doerst of St. Louis stopped in the Wm. Dankemyer home Friday. Mr and Mrs. Albert Altenburg and Mr and Mrs. John Grey of Hazel Green are visiting in the Mr and Mrs. John Altenburg home since Thursday. Mr and Mrs. Roy Nowack and daughter, Shirley and Mr and Mrs. Fred Bartz spent Sunday in Mr and Mrs. Fred Helm home. Rev. and Mrs. Hoeh and baby and Miss Leona Hahm, left for Missouri Monday to visit his parents and on their way back they will stop in Milwaukee to visit relatives and friends. A son was born Tuesday morning, June 16, to Mr and Mrs. Louis Helm at Marshfield Hospital. Miss Anna Sternitzky spent a few days last week in Neillsville with her sister, Mrs. August Arndt. Mr and Mrs. Rudolph Punckle of Richland were dinner guests of Mr and Mrs. John Altenburg Sunday. Louis, Leona and Gust Helm were in Neillsville Thursday. Mrs. Albert Biergutz is recovering from her serious attack of pneumonia. Her daughter of Rochester is still there caring for her. Mr and Mrs. Arthur Drescher and family visited in the Mrs. Emma Helm home Sunday. They brought Dorothy Helm, who has been visiting there the past week home with them. |
