Obit: Nankivell, Robert (1884 - 1940)
SURNAMES: Nankivell, Meisner, Guk Source: Millie Lee Collection of Articles (This particular article is not in whole, as it does not state a date of print, and part of the copy was cut off) Robert Edmund Nankivell Robert Edmund Nankivell, who died recently at the age of 56, was long a farmer in the town of Lynn. He moved to the Nankivell farm there in 1902, and continued farming until October 1, 1940, when he sold the place to Earl Meisner. He then moved to the home of Mrs. Erna Guk, where he lived until his death. Mr. Nankivell was born July 14, 1884, at Iron Mountain, Michigan, the son of Mr and Mrs Robert Nankivell, Sr. After the death of his mother in 1896, Robert, with his father and an aunt, moved to Hazel Green, WI, and remained there for six years, prior to coming to Clark County. Mr. Nankivell had been in poor health in recent years. He had submitted to two major operations and had been the victim of several heart attacks.... |
