Cole, John 7/8/1863 to 1940

Funeral rites for John Cole, 77, a former resident of the Town of Fremont, who died suddenly Saturday of a heart attack at the Alfred Schnabel home, Town of Granton, were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton.

The Rev. Obed Asp, Neillsville, pastor of the Methodist Church had charge of the services, and interment was made in the family lot in the Spencer cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gordon Davis, H A Knoll Sr., William Schmitz, Gustave Schmidtke, Alfred Schnabel, and John Madler.

Mr. Cole was born in Rockford, IL, July 8, 1863. Mrs Cole preceded him death.

He is survived by two sons, Alvin, Abbotsford, and Harry, Town of Fremont; one daughter, Lena Pischer, Mora, MN; and one brother, Arthur, who resides at the Henry Kibbel home, Veefkind.
