Surname: Schaele, Smith, Payne, Bertz, Panzer, Indermuhle, Wetky, Hillmer, henning, Gerhardt, Wiesjah, Anderegg, Barton, Buettner Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 19 May 1932 Schaele, Anna (4 Sept. 1873 - 7 May 1932) Mrs. Rudolph passed away at her home near Christie at 11 o’clock Saturday, May 7, the cause of her death being heart and live trouble. Mrs. Schaele, whose maiden name was Anna Smith was born at Leroy, Dodge County, Sept. 4, 1873. On Sept. 26, 1901, she was married to Rudolph Schaele in Fond du Lac County, In 1914 they moved to Clark county and bought a farm in the town of Weston, where they have since resided. Mrs. Schaele was a lady who was well liked in the community. She was a helpful neighbor and a good wife and mother and will be greatly missed in the home and the community. She leaves her husband and four children: Mrs. Wesley Payne of Eyola, Minn.; Clarence of Sheboygan; Theodore at Granton and Edward at home. She leaves also the following sisters; Mrs. Ed. Bertz, Fond du Lac, Wis.; Mrs. Pauline Panzer, Oakfield; Mrs. Caroline Indermuhle, Mayville; Mrs. Helen Wetky, Pola, Kansas; Emma and Louise in Detroit; also one half brother, George Smith, Milton, Wis. The funeral was held May 11 at 1:30 p.m. at the home and 2:00 p.m. at Christie Lutheran Church, Rev. Hillmer officiating. The pallbearers were Erenest Henning, Wm. Gerhardt, Ferdinand Wiesjahn, Wm. Anderegg, Louie Barton, Wm. Buettner.
