LINDOW-NEINAS April 6, 1945

On April 6, the silver wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence NEINAS, Chili, their daughter, Iris, became the bride of Vernon LINDOW, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther LINDOW, Chili, in a wedding ceremony read in the Immanuel Evangelical Church at Chili by the Rev. S.M. Gutknecht, at 2 p.m. Billy RUSCH played the wedding march for the double ring service while Elivra LINDOW, accompanied by Dick RUSCH, sang "Love Divine". The vows were read before the altar bedecked with bouquets of snapdragons.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a formal gown of white satin, marquisette and lace and a finger-tip veil of illusion caught to a rhinestone headdress. For jewelry she wore a pearl necklace and earrings, a gift of the groom, and her flowers were pink and white carnations.

Joyce DRESCHER, a cousin of the bride and groom, in pink marquisette and lace, was flower girl, and Janeth DRESCHER, a cousin of the bride and groom, in a light blue net frock, and Wayne WESESNBERG, a nephew of the bride, in a dark suit, carried the rings on calla lilies.

Attendants were Miss Elvira LINDOW, cousin of the groom, and Miss Mae CURTIN, Granton, in pink and blue satin and marquisette dresses. Matching bonnets, pearl necklaces, gifts of the bride, and corsage of pink and white carnations completed their attire.

Rex NEINAS, a brother of the bride, and Billy SCHLINSOG, Greenwood, a cousin of the groom, attended the groom.

Viewing her daughter's wedding and later at the 7 o'clock wedding dinner, Mrs. NEINAS was attired in a brown floral print, and the groom's mother wore a brown wool suit. Both had corsages of marigolds.

The dining room of the NEINAS home was canopied with white, pink, and blue streamers, centered with a large wedding bell. Flowers and a decorated wedding cake formed the centerpiece at the table. Later that evening, a coin shower was held in the young couple's honor in the church parlors and lunch was served.

After a week's honeymoon in Chicago, the couple will be at home to friends on the groom's farm near Chili.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Lindow were graduated from the Marshfield High School, he in 1941, and his bride in 1944.

Guests included Mr. and Mrs. M.W. RUSCH and sons, Billy and Dick, Glen Ellyn, IL; Mr. and Mrs. Harry SCHLINSOG and son, Billy, Greenwood.
