Obit: Haack, Tillie L. (1897 - 1924)
Surnames: HAACK DIERCKS Source: DORCHESTER/ABBOTSFORD CLARION (Abbotsford, Clark Co., WI) 02/22/1924 Haack, Tillie L. (2 FEB 1897 - 16 FEB 1924) Mrs. Ferdinand Haack died Saturday, Feb. 16th, 1924, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Appleton. Tillie Louise Diercks was born on Feb. 2, 1897, at Belleplain, Shawano Co., Wis. and was 27 years and 14 days at time of death. Mrs. Haack was taken to Appleton Monday and on Friday was operated on and passed away the next day. Sunday the body was brought here and was taken to their farm home about two miles north of the village, where she had lived happily with her husband and three little tots, who are left to mourn. Wednesday afternoon the funeral services were conducted from the home and St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Rev. V. M. Keiper officiating and she was laid to rest in the Lutheran Cemetery south of town, Herman Holtz, Frank Weber, Dell Winchell, Hy Rau, Jr., Wm. Schraeder and Mr. Tauchen acting as pallbearers. Another mother has slipped away when it seems as if those who are left could not spare her but the Heavenly Father who doeth all things well, knows why she was called and mayhap her loving voice and smile will be the first to greet them when they, too, cross the river and "Then Ah, Then We'll Understand." Besides a loving husband and three little ones, she leaves her parents, a sister and three brothers to mourn her loss, all of them were here, besides Mr. Haack's people, two brothers, a sister and husband. |
