Quite a number attended the lecture Friday at Willard, given by Go La Follette.

Melvin F. Leonard Jr. and Frank Lunika Jr. were pleasant callers at the F. Champa home Saturday.

Rudolph Volk bound grain for Tom Pozega Wednesday.

The McNess agent was through our community last Tuesday.

Frank Champa Jr. assisted Anton Merkur with the haying several days last week.

Frank Lunka Jr. and Otto Meinholdt were Eau Claire callers Saturday.

Mrs. Otto Meinholdt, who is attending summer school in Eau Claire spent the week end here with her husband.

Tom Pozega was a business caller at Greenwood one day last week.

Miss Emma Volk arrived from Chicago, Ill., to spend some time at the parental home.

Gorman and Owen ball teams were playing Sunday on the Tioga-base ball grounds. The game was won in favor of Gorman, the score being 3 to 6.

Mr and Mrs. Ludwig Perushek and children visited Sunday at the Champa home.
