Calway, Marion (22 JAN 1883 – 1 JAN 1962)

Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. – Mrs. Marion O’Neill Calway, former resident of Neillsville, died at Minneapolis Monday morning.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Georgas Funeral Home here with Mrs. Henry Dahnert in charge. Burial will take place in the Neillsville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Georgas Funeral Home beginning Wednesday afternoon.

The former Marion O’Neill, was born Jan. 22, 1883, in Neillsville, and was the daughter of the late Judge and Mrs. James O’Neill. She was educated here and also studied at Grafton Hall, Fond du Lac, Downer College, Milwaukee, the University of Wis. At Madison, and spent several years studying music at Milwaukee. She was married to Forest Calway in Neillsville, June 6, 1912.

Mrs. Calway is survived by a daughter, Miss Marian F. Calway, Minneapolis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and a brother, Ernest A. O’Neill.
