Wed, Mar 9, 2005 Michur, Adam Walter (10 Nov. 1926) THORP -Adam Walter Michur, 78, of Thorp, died Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Oakbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation in Thorp. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. Inurnment will be in Old St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Thorp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. He was born Nov. 10, 1926, in Chicago to George and Josephine (Andruszkiewicz) Michur. He married Eleanor Valk and they later divorced. He owned Michur's Implement between Owen and Withee. He married Arvilla Zimmerman on Nov. 10, 1989, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on Nov. 10, 1989. Survivors include his wife, Arvilla Michur, Thorp; two daughters, Diane (Pat) Albrecht, Athens, and Cindy (Marvin) Mengel, Lublin; three sons, Dan (Sandy), Stevens Point, Wayne, Berlin, and Mike, Minneapolis; a stepdaughter, Bonnie (Gene) Burger, Naples, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Ed Michur, Thorp; and one sister, Estella Mendalski, Waukegan, Ill.
