WILLIAM F. FOHRMAN (1895 - 1987)

Funeral services for William F. Fohrman, 91, Hayward, will be held on Thursday, June 4, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. The Rev Joseph R. Kraly will officiate. The burial will be in the Lutheran cemetery. Full military rites will be performed by the Loyal American Legion post 175. Serving as pallbearers will be Clarence Miller, Allen Gordee, Lester Bloom, Glen Bloom, Daryl Rowley, Eugene Fohrman, Delbert Podevels, and Arvin Podevels. The body will like in state after 4 p.m. today at the Rinka Funeral Home.

Fohrman died at 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 31 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minn.

Formerly of Loyal, Fohrman was born November 13, 1895 in Marathon County,

He married Lorna Pieper on June 22, 1921 in Loyal. After their marriage they farmed in the Town of Beaver until he retired. They then moved to the City of Loyal. For the past two years he was living in Hayward.

He was a WWI Veteran, where he won a victory medal and was cited for gallantry in action in war, a member of the Loyal American Legion, a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and supervisor for the Town of Beaver for six years.

Surviving him are two daughter, Mrs. Mavis Gordee, Marshfield and Mrs. Clarence (Lucille) Miller, Loyal; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Krauter, Milwaukee, one brother, Herman Fohrman, Leona, five grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his wife, his parents August and Otilla (nee Bebauer) Fohrman, and eight brothers and sisters.

Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
