(26 APR 1897 – 10 SEP 1977) Withee, Clark County, Wis. – Mrs. Richard (Emma Augusta) Rabska, 80, Withee, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Continental Manor Nursing Home at Abbotsford. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Withee, the rev. Douglas R. Groenwold, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Owen. The former Emma Baehr was born April 26, 1897 in Withee. She was married to Richard Rabska March 22, 1916 in Withee and farmed in that area. They moved to Withee this Spring. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, for which she was organist for many years. She also was a member of its Ladies Aid. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Earl (Florence) Petersen of Withee; four sons, Howard and Herman of Withee, Lester of Chippewa Falls, and Roger of Oak Creek; two brothers, Harry of Loyal and George of Withee; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. |
