Bach, Dorothy A. (14 Jan. 1932 – 23 Aug. 2004)

DORCHESTER -Dorothy A. Bach, 72, of the town of Little Black, died Aug. 23, 2004, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in the town of Holway. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in the town of Little Black.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until service time Friday, both at the church.

Hemer Funeral Service is assisting the family with the arrangements.

She was born Jan. 14, 1932, in Medford to Arther and Erma (Moore) Prell. She married Bernard Bach on June 6, 1932, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford. She taught elementary grades at Kreie School following their marriage. The couple farmed in the town of Deer Creek until 1977 and then purchased a farm in the town of Little Black, where they actively farmed.

Survivors include her husband, Bernard Bach; two daughters, Cheryle (Tim) Bluem, Osseo, and Carla (Kim) Peissig, town of Little Black; a son, Jim Bach, town of Little Black; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn (Ken) Krueger, Green Bay, and Nancy Nelson, Medford; and two brothers, Jim Prell, Medford, and Jerry (Patty) Prell, LaPine, Ore.
