Obit: Brott, Jesse (1879 – 1880)
Surnames: BROTT ---------Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 03/17/1880 --------- Brott, Jesse (JUL 1879 – 14 MAR 1880) Died, in this village (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), on Sunday, the 14th inst., of Dropsy of the Brain, Jesse, infant son, of Frank and Betsey A. Brott, aged 8 months. Jesse was but a short sojourner here below, and was afflicted from birth, from which fact, perhaps, he had become entwined more closely in the parental love. The close watching and tender care necessary to nurture and protect the little spark of life, to keep it burning so long, has tended to endear the little one to the hearts of the parents. The going out of the little spark of life is none the less severely felt because of its being not wholly unexpected, but, rather more severe. The mourning parents have the sympathies of the entire community. |
