Dietsche, 95, Marshfield, formerly of Loyal, died Sunday, April 24, 2005, at the Marshfield Care Center, where she had been a resident since January 2004. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 27, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. The Rev. Daniel Zimmerman officiated. Burial was in Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Spencer. Rose Alice Ploman was born on July 18, 1909, in Templeton, Iowa, to Edward and Elizabeth (nee Zaiger) Ploman. As a small child, she moved with her parents to Loyal. She received her education at Pleasant Ridge School in the town of Unity. She worked as a live-in baby sitter and did domestic and restaurant work as a young girl. She married Paul Dietsche on July 2, 1030, in Marshfield. They went everywhere together. They were painters and loved to fish. She crocheted many afghans, which she shared with here children and grandchildren.. She had many hobbies which included crafts, gardening, sewing and rug making. She was also a collector of spoons. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the T.L.C.W. She will be dearly missed by her children, Evangeline (Merle) Goth, Madison, and Gerald (Alma) Dietsche, Fond du Lac. She is further survived by eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Selma Rueth, Marshfield; and one brother, Walter Ploman, Texas. Preceding her in death was her husband, on Nov. 26, 1984; an infant daughter; her parents; three brothers; four sisters; and a great-grandson. Cuddie funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements. |
