News: Sunshine Corners (4 Jan. 1934)
Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 4 Jan. 1934 Sunshine Corners (Mrs. Harry Ayers) Mrs. And Mrs. Harold Oldham and Duane spent Christmas day at A. Oldham’s. Mrs. Chas. Greeler and Mrs. Erwin Greeler helped take care of meat at Mrs. E. Winkelmann’s last Wednesday. The Chas. Buddinger family spent New Year’s Eve at Paul Bladl’s. Clarence Becker and Clinton Phelps called on Alvin Lavene Saturday eve. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Reindel and Gloria spent New Year’s Day with Geo. Reindel and family. Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Hoesly and children spent New Year’s Eve with friends at Loyal. Paul Bladl and John Kubat helped Frank Kubat butcher Saturday. Erwin Greeler helped Emil Winkelmann butcher a pig Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Meier and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Meier and daughter spent Sunday at H. Nickels. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Northup and son called at Oscar Northup’s Sunday. Frank Northup attended the party at Beineck’s Saturday night. Clinton Phelps is working at Frank Kubat’s. Mr. and Mrs. John Jonas spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ayers and Robert Pedder. The pit at Fred Schoengarth’s was opened and the CWA men began to work in it Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bladl and family were New Year’s guests at Mike Zahradka’s at Granton. Everett and Elinor Soper were over night guests at the Ayers children New Year’s Eve. M. Hoesly’s entertained friends from Loyal New Year’s day. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Kupke and baby called on relatives and friends at Marshfield Sunday. Frank Ruddock had supper with Harry Ayers and family Thursday night. Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Wendt are visiting at H. Fradette’s.
