Pleasant Ridge ***first part of this column was cut off.**

Mrs. Wm. Vine had a quilting on Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim West ate dinner with the Hughes Wednesday and the ladies tied a comforter in the p.m.

Sam Cook spent Sunday with Otto Handke’s.

The young married folks were entertained at Geo. Hubing’s in Neillsville at a hard time party.

Robert Hiles returned home Sunday from the Neillsville hospital.

Alfred Bartz and family of Romandka spent Sunday at Jas. West’s.

Mr. and Mrs. Len Howard and Mrs. Ted Selves spent Wednesday at Vern Howard’s.

Miss Elsie Selves and Aileen Hughes ate supper with the Farrands family in Neillsville Monday night. They attended Latin Club meeting also.

Miss Ruth Roder spent Thursday night in Neillsville wit Ione Schwallenbach.

The Hughes family also Mr. and Mrs. Ted Selves enjoyed supper Friday evening with the Harold Huckstead family and Mrs. Hattie Huckstead. Mrs. Selves and Mrs. Hughes spent the day with Mrs. Huckstead. We all surely enjoyed our visit.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Selves and Mrs. Ted Selves visited Mrs. Geisler at the Marshfield Hospital Thursday.

The ladies of the M. E. Church will give a plum pudding supper Mar. 2 at the church basement.
