(5 Nov 1925 - 9 Nov 2004) LARSEN, Thelma L. “Dolly”, 79, of Eau Claire died Tuesday at her daughter’s home in Thorp. Arrangements are pending at Thorp Funeral Home. Thelma ‘Dolly’ Louise Larsen, 79, of Eau Claire, died on Tuesday, November 9, 2004, at her daughters’ residence in Thorp. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 19, 2004, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, with Rev. Andrew Hinwood officiating. Visitation will be held at the church, on Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Thelma Louise Countryman was born November 5, 1925 in Howard, S.D., the daughter of Jasper G. and Lydia (Schulz) Countryman. As a young girl, she moved with her family to Cumberland, WI., were she was raised and received her education, graduating from Cumberland High School. After her schooling, she moved to Madison, WI, where she was employed as a model for Manchester’s Department Store. She was united in marriage on April 26, 1948, to Herbert Williamson in Menomonie, WI. In 1960, they moved to Eau Claire, and Dolly continued to work as a model. On December 27, 1965, her husband passed away. On July 2, 1970, she married Donald J. Larsen in Eau Claire; he passed away on April 17, 2004. Dolly moved to Thorp to live with her daughter in August, 2004. Dolly was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, in Eau Claire; a member of the Altoona V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, and a former Cub Scout Den Mother. She is survived by one son, Roger (Debbie) Williamson of Hayward, and one daughter, Sharon (Tony) Simington of Thorp; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, two sisters, Naomi Wieland and Emma Halweg and one brother, Delbert Countryman. Throp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
