Tue, Jun 21, 2005 Krueger, Lester Otto (7 April 1922 – 19 June 2005) ABBOTSFORD -Lester Otto Krueger, 83, Abbotsford, died Sunday, June 19, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2005, at Pine Hill Cemetery, Curtiss. Reverend Curt Rohland will officiate. Full military rites will be conducted by the Abbotsford VFW Post 865 at the cemetery. Maurina Community Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Lester was born April 7, 1922, in the town of Green Grove, Clark County, to Fred and Martha (Stacke) Krueger. Lester and Donna Roytek were married Dec. 4, 1979. He was a truck driver for Foremost Foods, Owen. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards, fishing and gardening. Lester was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Curtiss, and Abbotsford VFW Post. Lester is survived by his wife Donna of Abbotsford; his children, Dawn (Chuck) Decker of Dorchester and Diane (John Hawkey) Arndt of Abbotsford; his grandchildren, David, Mike, Andy and Brandon; and two sisters, Vera-Dean Laabs of Abbotsford, and Valoris (Carl) Crement of Abbotsford. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Elroy. Memorials may be made to Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Curtiss.
