Price, August (1882 – * 5 Sept. 1959) * Death taken from the Wisconsin State Death index 1959 – 1979.

Funeral services were held last week Tuesday for August Price, aged 76, at the Myre Funeral Home in Loyal with William Backer officiating. He died Sept. 5, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, of old age complications. Burial took place in the town of Beaver Cemetery. Pallbearers were Albert, Herman and Louis Hardrath, Fred Raeck, Elmer Schuette and Richard Witte. Price was born in Manitowoc County Oct. 9, 1882, and was 16 years old when the family moved to the farm on United Route 1, where he resided since. He married Erna Schenck at Green Grove April 12, 1907. Survivors are the widow; five daughters, Mrs. Frank Kovatch, Duluth, Minn., Mrs. Chester Vine and Mrs. Hugh Vine, Janesville, Mrs. Warren Thomas, Birchwood, and Mrs. Ray Johnson, Loyal; two sons, Ernest, at home and Edward, and one brother, Fred Price, Owen.
