Surname: Raeck, Kach, Oestrich, Ruether, Bukachek, Hardrath, Schuette, Ruzik Source: Scrap book one: by Elsa Lange Hardrath & Dorthaleen Edwards Hardrath Contributed by Halbert “Bud” Hardrath Raeck, Frederick (19 March 1886 – 9 Sep 1971) FREDERICK RAECK, 85 Unity – Services were held Saturday at the Klein-Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, for a former Unity area resident, Frederick Raeck, 85, Manitowoc, who died Thursday morning at Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc. The Rev. Karl F. Kach, Two Rivers, officiated and burial was made in the Knollwood Memorial Gardents, Town of Kossuth. Mr. Raeck was born March 19, 1886, in the town of Two Rivers, and moved to the town of Beaver in 1895 with his parents. He was married in 1909 to Martha Oestrich, who survives. They made their home on a farm in the town of Green Grove until four years ago, when they moved to Manitowoc, and had since resided with a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Anna) Ruether. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 1969. Survivors in addition to his wife and Mrs. Ruether are another daughter, Mrs. Ben (Ida) Bukachek, Minneapolis; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Hardrath, Abbotsford; Mrs. Lilly Schuette, Unity; and Mrs. Leona Ruzik, Manitowoc.
