(21 July 1897 – 6 Jan. 1985) Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., at the Rinka Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 9, 1985 for Mary Vincent, 87, a resident of Continental Manor, Abbotsford, who died Sunday January 6, 1985 at 1:15 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Reverend C. Arlene Denzer officiated. Burial was in the Loyal Cemetery. She was born July 21, 1897, in Troy, Tennessee to William and Martha (nee Jamerson) Caskey. She married Albert Hardrath in 1947. He died in 1966. In 1975 she married Percy Vincent of Loyal. He died in 1983. She worked most of her life as a school secretary in the Tennessee School system. Since 1975 she has been living in the Loyal area. She belonged to the Beaver Homemakers Club. She is survived by one step-daughter, Mrs. Linda Cook, Spencer; two step-sons, Murel Vincent, Milwaukee and Verlyn Vincent, Glendive, Montana. She is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements. * * * Mrs. Percy Vincent Loyal – Mrs. Percy (Mary C.) Vincent, 87, a resident of Continental Manor Nursing Home, Abbotsford, the past 11 months, formerly of Loyal, died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she was admitted Dec. 28. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, with the Rev. C. Arlene Denzer of United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Loyal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Tuesday, and Wednesday until service time, at the funeral home. The former Mary C. Caskey was born July 21, 1897 in Troy, Tenn. Her first marriage was to Albert Hardrath in 1947; he died in 1966. In 1975 she was married to Percy Vincent in Tennessee; he died in 1983. She was a secretary in the Tennessee school system most of her life. She had resided in Loyal since 1975 and was a former member of the Beaver Homemaker Club. Surviving are a step-daughter, Linda Cook of Spencer; and two step-sons, Murel Vincent of Milwaukee, and Verlyn Vincent of Glendive, Mont. She was also preceded by two brothers and a sister. |
