Hardrath, Albert (12 May 1891 – 10 June 1966)

ALBERT HARDRATH, 75, DIED FRIDAY, JUNE 10 OF HEART AILMENT

Albert Hardrath, 75, Loyal, died of a heart ailment at 12:30 a.m. Friday, June 10, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 13, at the Myre Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Marad, of the First Universalist Church, Wausau, officiating. Burial was made in the town of Beaver cemetery.

Pallbearers were Glen Bloom, Lester Bloom, James Hallowell, Henry Kostlevy, Clarence Miller, and Gerhardt Scheel.

Mrs. Ruth Zepplin was organist at the services and there were no vocal solos.

Mr. Hardrath was born May 12, 1891, in the Town of Green Grove, Clark County, and had lived there and in the town of Beaver his entire life. He was a farmer and also did some carpentry work.

Mr. Hardrath’s first marriage was to Louise Lang in June, 1916. On September 23, 1947, he married Mary Caskey, who survives him.

Mr. Hardrath was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, Marshfield.

Other survives are his son, Albert Jr., Carmichael Calif.; two daughters, Edna, Chicago; and Myra, San Diego, California; two brothers, Herman and Louis Hardrath, Owen; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Nelson, Loyal; and Mrs. Ellwood Fisher, Owen; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
