Skrzypek, 70, Thorp, died Monday, July 25, 2005, at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Thorp. The Rev. Keith Apfelbeck officiated. Burial was in Old St. Hedwig’s Catholic Cemetery. Edward Stanley Skrzypek was born on June 16, 1935, in the town of Withee, Clark County, to John and Helen (nee Slupski) Skrzypek. He was raised on the family farm and educated at Pineland School and at St. Hedwig’s Catholic School. He farmed all of his life in Clark County, and over the past several years, had operated his own custom combining business. He was a member of St. Bernard-St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church. Survivors include one brother, Raymond (Mary Ann) Skrzyprk, Racine; and one sister, Grace Houska, Affton, Mo. |
