Pieper, Delmar (11 Oct. 1932 – 18 Feb. 1993)

Unity – Services for Delmar Pieper, 60, Spencer, who died at 10:11 a.m. Thursday in the Emergency Room of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Unity.

The Rev. DuWayne Schneider will officiate. Burial will be in Loyal Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, from 4-9 p.m. Sunday.

He was born Oct. 11, 1932, in the town of Beaver. He attended East Beaver School and Loyal High School. He married Darlene Kramer June 12, 1952, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity.

He farmed all his life in the town of Unity. He served on St. Luke’s church board.

He is survived by his wife; six sons, Dennis and Douglas, both of Spencer, David and Dale, both of Unity, and Dean and Danny, both of Loyal; one daughter, Mrs. James (Debra) Young of Loyal; his father, Arnold Pieper, a resident of Colonial House Living Center, Colby; four sisters, Mrs. Art (Beverly) Olson, Mrs. Larry (Joyce) Rueth, and Mrs. David (Karen) Fricke, all of Loyal, and Mrs. Marlene Launstein of Colorado; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his mother and one sister, Delores Helm.
