Surnames: SCHOEFFNER KRAUSE WENZEL Source: CLARK COUNTY REPUBLICAN & PRESS (Neillsville, Wis.) 11/18/1920 Schoeffner, Mrs. August (1 MAR 1841 – 12 NOV 1920) Mrs. Aug. Schoeffner, one of the old residents of this city (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.), died at Chippewa Falls Nov. 12, 1920, at the home of a nephew whom she was visiting. Deceased was born in Germany march 1, 1841. She came to this country when about 17 years of age with her parents, who settled in Oazukee Co. There she was married to Chas. Krause, who later died. She was married to Aug. Schoeffner, and about 18 years ago they came here to live, and this has been there home ever since. She is survived by her husband and two children, Gus. Krause and Mrs. A. Wenzel, and one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services were held at Chippewa Falls Sunday, Rev. Schrern officiating, burial taking place at Forest Hill Cemetery. |
