News: Eidsvold (13 Aug 1886)
Source: Thorp Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 13 Aug 1886 Eidsvold Items (By Job.) Myrtle Hadly is quite ill with the whooping cough. S. S. Warner sold a cow to Mr. Anton, and a calf to Geo. Baker; and purchased a cow of Robert Ferdon last week. The unlucky fate of John Dignon last Friday proves conclusively, that the railroad should not be used as a public highway. Jerome Foster and S. S. Warner, have enclosed their front yards with neat wire fences. Farmers are doing their fall burning and the sky is o'er clouded with smoke. M. Anderson and E. Warner exchanged residences last week, one resuming farm and the other village life. D. T. Donahoe drove out to Boyd, to witness the game of ball, last Sunday. |
