Withee Waifs ( By Slokum)

Mrs. Joe Gibson was a caller on her many friends on Monday.

Henry Felend is busy hauling and shipping staves.

Thos. Thompson has returned but came alone.

Mrs. Tripp is slowly recovering from her illness.

Dr. W. Cummers little son Charley is very sick with a bad cold.

James K. Gorman is looking after D. J. Spaulding's lumber business here.

Joe Gibson left on the train Monday for his camps on Pine River with a car load of horses.

H. H. Simpson is busy scaling logs for the camps. Sleighing is good and the lumbermen are pushing things lively.

W. S. Tufts is very busy looking after his lumber camps and unpacking his spring stock of goods which is arriving daily, but Billy will get there if anyone can.
