R. Anding home at a farewell party for Verland Anding who is leaving for an aviation camp at Selfridgefield, Mich. Miss Ann Gullickson entertained company from Loyal Sunday. Fred Schmidt returned from Oshkosh Friday after spending a week with his son there. Chas. Tews and family visited with friends at Granton Sunday. Mrs. Mat. Resong, sons Joe and John and Walter Beyer took Albert Resong to the CCC camp at Fairchild a week ago Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gress and family spent Easter Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Raether at Eau Claire. Mrs. Walter May was on the sick list a few days last week. Elmer Keller is helping his brother with springs work at Alma, Wis. Lester May bought a friend, Gardner Thompson home with him from the CCC camp at Fairchild for over Easter, returning Sunday eve. Mrs. Richard Beyer spent several days at Marshfield last week. Mrs. John VandeBerg stayed with Mrs. Jennie Gress Sunday while the family were at Altoona. Mr. and Mrs. John Gullickson spent Sunday at George Warnecke’s near Granton. The sheephead club met at Fred Nemitz’s a week ago Monday evening. Fritz Dux and Arlene, Paul Dux, and Albert Wagner and John Martin spent Sunday evening at the Otto May home. Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Siems and family visited at the Ralph Montgomery home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Armstrong of Granton called at Elmer Keller’s a week ago last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. John Gullickson visited at the Carl Allen home Easter Sunday. Mrs. Otto May spent several days at the Fred Dux home last week, as Mrs. Dux is not feeling well. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Jelenski were a week ago Sunday visitors at the Ed. Evenson home. Florence Miller spent a week ago Sunday with Esther May. Sever of the neighbor and friends gave Mrs. Albert Meihak a shower a few nights ago. Mrs. Susie Thoma and mother Mrs. Korman spent Sunday evening with Mrs. Elmer Keller. Mrs. Addie Hawks entertained her brother and wife of Eau Claire Sunday evening.
