News: Longwood (2 Aug 1894)
Source: Thorp Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) Surnames: BRYDEN SMITH SCHOFIELD GIBSON SANDERS SIMERSON BRIDGE FULTS ADAMS Longwood Record (By Gypsy) A ladies picnic was held at the picnic grounds Thursday. A large delegation being present from Greenwood. A good time was enjoyed. Jas Bryden passed through the village Sunday. Millie Smith spent Saturday and Sunday with parents. Mrs. Robt. Schofield passed through the village Friday. Jos. Gibson returned from Milwaukee Friday. R. L. Sanders transacted business in Greenwood Monday. Wm. Simerson spent Saturday and Sunday in the village. A "large" picnic was held at R. B. Bridge Sunday 22nd by the Thorp and Longwood young people. Ed Fults and Bert Adams passed through this place Saturday.
