News: Withee (7 Feb 1895)
Source: Thorp Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) Withee Surnames: RUBELEN FULTS HANSEN TUFTS PORTER Walter Rubelen spent a portion of last week visiting with friends at Thorp and Stanley. On account of scarlet fever the schools were closed on Wednesday last. As no new cases have been reported and the others are getting better the schools will probably resume on Monday next. Those who went to Longwood on Saturday evening last report an enjoyable evening. Prin. J. E. Fults went to Thorp, Wednesday. The appointment of Mr. Hansen as Dist. Treasurer is held illegal and W. S. Tufts appointed in his place. ............. Capt. R. E. Porter.
