Fabianski, Joseph A. (2 MAR 1912 – 8 JUL 1988)

ABBOTSFORD, Wis. – Joseph A. Fabianski, 76, Abbotsford, died at 3:47 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been admitted July 6.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Charity Catholic Church in Cicero, Ill. Burial will be in St. Adelbert’s Cemetery in Niles, Ill.

Visitation will be at Heritage-Kopicki Funeral Home in Berwyn, Ill., from 2-9 p.m. today, and on Tuesday until time of services. The Rembs/Kudinger Chapel handled local arrangements.

He was born March 2, 1912, in Chicago, to Anthony and Josephine Fabianski. He attended St. Adelbert’s Parochial School, Chicago.

He married Michaleline Krentkowski Sept. 10, 1938, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Chicago.

He worked as a supervisor for 31 years at Reliable Metal Stamping Co., in Franklin Park, Ill. He moved to Abbotsford following his retirement in 1977.

He was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Antoinette Mingey of Trumbull, Conn., Mrs. William (Gloria) Cardwell of Addison, Ill., and Mrs. Edward (Geraldine) Kroll of Cary, Ill.; one brother, Mitchell of Chicago; and four sisters, Mrs. Edward (Wanda) Matuch, Mrs. Theodore (Dorothy) Szott, Miss Martha Fabianski, and Mrs. Leonard (Irene) Polivka, all of Chicago.

He was predeceased by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
