Surnames: GRAJEK GRAIKOWSKI WIATER Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 05/16/1935 Grajek, Lottie (20 APR 1905 – 3 MAY 1935) Mrs. Lottie Grajek, wife of Walter Grajek of Lublin, Taylor Co., Wis., died at the Medford Hospital Friday, May 3, 1935. Lottie Graikowski was born on the farm of her parents in the town of Withee, Clark Co., April 20, 1905, having reached the age of 30 years and 13 days at death. Upon reaching womanhood she was united in marriage to Walter Grajek of Lublin, coming to Lublin with her husband. She had been a resident in the town of Roosevelt for almost 10 years. She was a most devoted mother and a dearly beloved wife, daughter and sister. The last days before God had taken her from this land of sorrow and care, were hard to bear for her. She never faltered in her courage and hope to win the fight for life, but God in His mercy knows what’s best for us. His will we shall accept. Surrounded by friends in the midst of our joys, we are blue with smiles on our faces, we have heartaches longing, dear Lottie, for you. She leaves to mourn, her husband, Walter Grajek, one son, Clemens, age 7; daughters, Veronica, age 5, and baby Jean Evelyn, 3 weeks old, all of Lublin; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Graikowski of Thorp; two sisters, Mrs. Sophie Wiater of Chicago, and Mrs. Evelyn Wiater of Green Bay; three brothers, John of Thorp, Stanley and Michael Graikowski of Chicago, and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and other relatives. Funeral services were held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Lublin, on May 7th, 1935, at 10:00 a.m., Rev. Rapala officiating. The pallbearers were: Andrew Stasielo, John Witek, Andrew Scziesziola, Anton Markiewicz, Peter Sondel and Anton Maziorka. May the memory of her dear face be with us till we join her.
