Hebert, 61, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, on Friday, March 10, 2006. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 13, at the Loyal United Methodist Church. The Rev. Wendell Williams officiated. Pallbearers were Bob Wolfe, Les Hebert, Todd Hoeper, Louie Hebert, Doug Seefeld, and Dennis Erickson. Burial will take place in the Loyal Cemetery at a later date. Richard Dean Hebert was born on Nov. 6, 1944, in the town of Beaver, to Leland and Verla (nee Seefeld) Hebert. He was raised on the family farm and received his education at Oak Grove School and Loyal High School. He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Hammon on Nov. 6, 1961 in Mississippi. The later divorced. He worked for O-W Trindal and Northside Elevator, Loyal, for a few years, before purchasing a farm in the town in Beaver. He also owned and operated his own milk route. He farmed until 1974, at which time he sold the farm, and continued to haul milk until selling his route in 1978. He was united in marriage to Jean Fischer on March 10, 1979, in Neillsville. They later divorced. In 1979, he went to work for Lynn Dairy, Granton. He was united in marriage to Wendy Resong in Loyal, on Feb. 25, 1994. He was currently the plant manager of Lynn Dairy’s protein plant. He had many interests, but especially loved horses, fishing, hunting, riding 4-wheelers, snowmobiling, racing stock cars when younger, playing pool and bowling. He was a member of Loyal United Methodist Church, Loyal Sportsmen’s Club and the Ripp Riders Snowmobiling Club. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Wendy, Unity; five children, Dan (Deb) Hebert, Loyal, Dennis (Patty) Hebert, Loyal, Bob Hebert, Loyal, Michelle (fiancé Mitchell Mertins) Clark, Humbird; Wesley (special friend Wendy Halopka) Hebert, Marshfield; three step-daughters, Lisa (Kirt) Murphy, Fountain Hills, Ariz., Kim (Todd) Peterson, River Falls, Tina (Mitch) Niki, Chicago City, Minn.; 14 grandchildren; his mother, Verla Hebert, Loyal; two brothers, Terry (Lil) Hebert, Greenwood; Duane Hebert, Loyal; and one sister, Kris (Dean) Schweiger, Loyal. He was preceded in death by his father, Leland Hebert, on July 10, 2003. Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, is assisting the family with arrangements.
