News: Fremont- York Town Line (18 June 1936)
Surname: Hill, Emling, Jewel, Rennak, Yilek, Anderson, Knoll, Schraeder, Dorst, Schmidtke, Kovall, Strey, Dehnkes, Freedlund, Drake, Davis, Dahnert Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 18 June 1936 Fremont – York Town Line Mr. Glen Hill and Chas. Emling have been painting the barn on the Lester Jewel farm. Mr. and Mrs. Julius Rennak and son Leland were callers at Geo. Yileks Tuesday evening. The Rural Social and Study club met with Mrs. Gust Anderson on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Julius Rennak and daughter Dorothy and son Leland were Marshfield callers Thursday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Knoll Sr. entertained a house full of relatives in honor of her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Gus. Schraeder of Denver, Colorado at dinner and supper Thursday. The Mrs. Ray Dorst, Otto Schimidtke, and Julius Rennak were strawberry picking at Merrillan Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schmidtke were callers at H. A. Kovall Sr’s Thursday evening. Mr. Geo. Yilek is home after doing some carpenter work and painting at Spooner the past 10 days. Mr. Rob Strey and Chas. Emling made a business trip to August Dehnkes at Fall Creek Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Emling and family attended the card party at Christie Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schmidtke and daughters, Lola, Katherine and Bonnie Jean spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Norman Freedlund at Sherwood. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Drake and daughter Frenalen and Mr. and Mrs. George Drake were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dahnert and children of Sheldon, Wisconsin were guests of the Julius Rennak family Sunday.
