Kelch, Wilhelmina Augusta Caroline (3 Feb. 1860 – 18 June 1936)

Mrs. Wilhelmina Augusta Caroline Kelch, a resident of Clark County for the past 32 years, died June 18 at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Hal Richardson after an illness of several months. Funeral rites were held at 10 a.m. Monday from St. John’s Lutheran Church with burial at Dorchester, Rev. William Bauman officiated.

Mrs. Kelch was born in Germany, Feb. 3, 1860, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Punzel and came to America 53 years ago. She was married to August Kelch June 14, 1877, 12 children being born to this union. They are Charles Kelch, Neillsville, Will Kelch, Markille, Minn.; Mrs. Herman Zimmerman, Madison; Mrs. Julius Hakenstad, Madison; Mrs. Russel Freeman, Whitewater, Mrs. H. Freeman, Whitewater; Mrs. Hal Richardson, Neillsville; Herman Kelch, Whitewater; Mrs. John Rosenow, Milwaukee; Walter Kelch, Waterloo, N. Y.; Ernest and Everett Kelch, Milwaukee, Mrs. Kelch also is survived by two brothers, August Punzel, Lakes Mills, and Ernest Punzel, Jefferson, Wis.; and two sisters, a sister, Mrs. John *[surname cut off], Wisconsin Rapids.
