Obit: Boehm, Augusta (1840 – 1913)
Surnames: BOEHM HOPPEL Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 06/05/1913 --------- Boehm, Augusta (30 MAY 1840 – 31 MAY 1913) Mrs. Augusta Boehm, wife of Louis Boehm of the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., died at her home at 5 o’clock Saturday morning, May 31st, 1913, aged 73 years and 1 day. Augusta Hoppel was born in Germany on May 30th, 1840, she was united in marriage to Louis Boehm in 1877, and in the year of 1881 came with her husband to Milwaukee, where they resided until 1883, when they came to Colby and settled on the farm where she died. She was a good neighbor and friend and highly respected by all who knew her. The funeral was held from St. John’s Church in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), Tuesday afternoon, and was largely attended by sympathizing friends and neighbors.
