Brock, 70, Marshfield, died Friday, April 7, 2006, at the House of the Dove, Marshfield, after a courageous battle with cancer. Mass of Christian Burial was at 1:30 p.m., on Monday, April 10, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield. The Rev. Charles D. Stoetzel officiated. Suzanne Golden was the organist along with St. John’s Funeral Choier. Burial was in Gate Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers were Christopher Pyan, Tyler Brock, Ryan Kurz, Philip Kundinger, Alvin Brock and Randy Kundinger. Honorary pallbearers were Travis Brock and Dawson Brock. Darleen Rondorf was born on Nov. 8, 1935, in Marshfield, to Alfred and Rose (nee Wolf) Rondorf. She attended Sacred Heart School and graduated from Marshfield Senior High School. She was united in marriage to Arnold W. Brock on Aug. 10, 1955, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield. He died on Aug. 13, 1994. As a young woman, she worked at a jewelry store in Marshfield. After her marriage, she was a homemaker and then moved to Loyal, where she and her husband owned and operated Loyal Foods until 1986. She baby-sat for many years and most recently was employed at Roth Manufacturing Company, Loyal, as a secretary. She also worked at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, and currently at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield. She enjoyed camping, playing cards and bingo, collecting cardinals, and spending time with her close group of friends. Survivors include her children, Luann (Donald) Pyan, Wausau, Linda (Randy) Wendt, Rochester, Minn., Lori (Klint) Schulz, Spencer, Jeffrey (Dawn) Brock, Loyal, Joseph (Kathy), Loyal, Gary (Barb) Brock, Sauk City, and Greg (Jennifer), Loyal; seven grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandson; and one sister, Karen (Philip) Kundinger, Hewitt. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Arnold; and special friend, Jack Schnitzler. Memorials may be given in her name to either the American Cancer Society or House of the Dove. She was a devoted mom and grandma and will be sadly missed by all her loved ones, whose lives she made special in countless ways. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com.
